V Conference European Integration: History & Political Prospects

Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the V International online conference for students and young researchers “EUROPEAN INTEGRATION: HISTORY AND POLITICAL PROSPECTS”, which will take place on 08 – 09 October 2020 (online mode).

The Conference organizers invite papers, abstracts and presentation proposals relevant to any of the following or related subjects:

• Development and promotion of ideas for the integration of the European countries.
• The history of the European integration process.
• Political, economic, social, legal, humanitarian and security issues of the EU.
• Cross-border cooperation as a mechanism for the implementation of the Eastern Partnership.
• Migration crisis and the future of the EU.
• Post-Soviet heritage: problems and prospects of the development of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
• Economic cooperation between Europe and Asia: history and modernity.
• Prospects of the European integration of Ukraine in the context of the military and political situation on its territory.
• European values, standards and human rights in the European integration policy.
• The legal system of the EU and the problem of harmonizing it with the national law in terms of integration.
• European identity: a view of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
• The role of Central-Eastern Europe in supporting the integration strategy of Ukraine.
• Foreign experience of association with the European Union.
• European Union and Central Asia partnership: economic, social, education, defence and policy.
• Students and Youth in Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.

Registration:

The registration form and article should be completed and sent to google form by
September 13, 2020
Registration fee: 200 UAH (about 8$). For publication of the article in a post-conf. monograph.

Book of conference papers:
The conference is accepting submissions for papers to be published in electronic edition. Prepare your paper using Microsoft Word software. The paper should follow the following format: up to 12 single-sided pages inclusive of all tables, figures, references, abstract, and keywords and so on. The text should be 1.5 spaced. Do not number the pages. Font type: Times New Roman. Font size: 14 point. Set the page margins exactly as follows: top, bottom, left and right for 20 mm. Paragraph indent: 1.25. Text file format: Docx. Double Review.
Working languages: Ukrainian, Polish, Kazakh, Russian and English.
