The next installment of the online seminar series “Historians and the War: Rethinking the Future”, titled “Historians and the War: Discussion with Prof. Timothy Snyder”, will take place on 9 June 2022 at 19:00 CET.
The aim of the series is to discuss if and to what extent the war in Ukraine is changing our perception of the past and which new questions for historians it raises.
The invited speaker is ??????? ??????, professor of history at Yale University and permanent fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, author of numerous publications on the history of Central and Eastern Europe and the Holocaust, including ??????????: ?????? ??????? ?????? ??? ?????? and ?? ???????: ?????? ??????? ???? ??? ????????? ???????.
The seminar will be chaired by Martin Schulze Wessel, Ludwig Maximilian University (Munich, Germany).
The seminar will be held in Ukrainian and English with simultaneous translation.
